Laura obtained her Associates in Human Services in 1997 from Southside Virginia Community College, BA in Health and Human Services in 2012 from Ashford University, and Masters in Health and Human Services Counseling/ Addiction and Recovery from Liberty University in 2016. Laura joined Counseling and Advocacy Associates in August 2012. She has also worked as a therapeutic day treatment counselor for Family Preservation Services. Laura is a member of the American Association of Christian Counselors. In the past, Laura worked as a medical operating specialist with the United States Army Reserve. Laura’s time in the military has inspired her to further her education and she is currently studying nursing at Southside Virginia Community College.
